Fun ways to celebrate National I Want You to Be Happy Day!

As Confident Queen, my mission since 2009 has been to help as many people as I can to have a reason to smile each day through the various activities I run. This is because there was a period in my life when it was all dark and I felt like a bird trapped in a cage with no way out due to some personal challenges I was going through. I am happy that after some time, I had the courage to ask for help from family, friends and various organisations which helped me regain my zest for life. Even just before Christmas I lost my mum and two two other very close family members. Though it has been devastating and for the last 3 months, things have been tough, I am slowly getting my smile back and I continue to go around various organisations spreading laughter and good vibes.

National I Want You to Be Happy Day is here to celebrate the idea that the world is a better place when we all work together to make other people happy. Although its not possible to change someone’s entire life in just a moment, but it’s certainly easy enough to make their day a little brighter by simple gestures  It can make all the difference between having a completely hard day and turning up as a ray of sunshine on their cloudy day.

Scientists have even shown  that when people help others. Oxytocin, dopamine and serotonin are all released in what’s called the “helper’s high”, which is the good feeling  someone gets from helping another person and watching them be happy.

Why I want you to be happy

I want you to be happy  and confident  because I  care about you and want the best for you.   I know  from my own experience that our happiness and confidence can have a positive impact on others around you, creating a more positive and uplifting environment for everyone.

Feeling happy and confident can have many positive benefits. It can improve your mental health and well-being, increase your productivity and creativity, and help you build stronger relationships with others. When you’re happy and confident, you’re more likely to have a positive outlook on life and be able to handle challenges and setbacks in a better way.

It’s good to laugh – celebrate #bellylaughday

Belly Laugh Day is a holiday observed annually on January 24. It is a day dedicated to celebrating the great gift and benefits of laughter. Laughter is known to having many holistic benefits which include the expanding of tissue lining of blood vessels to expand which consequently increases blood flow.  As a laughter yoga teacher, I do love going running laughter sessions in Nurseries, Schools, Residential Homes, for support groups and organisations as part of their wellbeing and employee engagement programmes.

January 24 is Global Belly Laugh Day Celebrate the Great Gift of Laughter and at 1:24 p.m. (local time) smile,  throw your arms in the air and laugh out loud. #GlobalBellyLaughDay #BellyLaughDay  http://www.bellylaughday.com/bellylaughdayhome.html

Are you dreading going back to work after the Christmas break?

dreadSo you have had a lovely long break  from work and now you are dreading going back to work?

Well here are some of my suggestions of what you get in the right frame of mine to get back to work and taken with you some of the Christmas happy vibes!

Start of by writing  down all the wonderful things you did  and experienced during the time you have had off.

  1.  Go to bed thinking how grateful you are to at least have a job and a salary at the end of each month.

2.   Wake up in a good mood determined to extend the Christmas spirit of happiness and good vibes to your colleagues,

3.  Before you  get to the office,  you could  buy a  box of  chocolates or  biscuits to  share with  your colleagues

chocolates

4.  When you get to the office smile and wish everyone a happy new year

5.  If at any time during the day you start getting that “ I am fed up and hate my job ” feeling, stop, go out for a walk or short break and do the One Minute Smilence – this means thinking or recalling happy experiences you have had whilst smiling for a minute

Ilovemyjob

I hope you have a wonderful day at work and hope that if you really hate your job, you will try and find ways to be happier at work or look for a job that would make you happier! Remember – The grass is always greener on the other side!

2015 has been a year when we had moments that made us cry and moments that made us smile. As we come towards the end of the year, I suggest we take time out just for a minute to recall the moments that gave us hope and made us smile. Celebrate your unique talent day

happinesspreader

Today is a day that we all should celebrate our talent as I feel that we are all gifted to do something.   My unique talent is creating and dressing up in fun outfits and going out to give people a reason to smile. I have been blessed with so much inner joy and I can’t keep it all to myself, I have to share it and give hope to others, as their was a time when I had no reason to smile and it was as if my sunshine had been taken away.

Being on Britain’s Got Talent in 2015 was one of my most memorable and enjoyable moments in my life as I was able to share this my talent with so many people nationally and internationally. https://youtu.be/n_RSU_QFtc4

What is your Unique Talent?

What do you excel at? What gifts, talents or skills are uniquely yours? Take the opportunity to share your unique gifts with friends and colleagues on Celebrate Your Unique Talent Day https://www.daysoftheyear.com/days/celebrate-your-unique-talent-day/

Seize the day – Your life has a purpose

everrday

In all you do,  try not reach a point in life where you find yourself coasting through life with no goal or purpose for yourself. Remember to “seize the day”.

Live your life with purpose. Determine to live a life of focus. Today, take a stand on one thing you want to achieve in your life and draw up a plan to accomplish it.

Purpose

Stop making excuses. I am responsible for my life and not anybody else. Instead of making excuses, I need to take responsibility It doesn’t matter what the obstacles in your life are. You can achieve almost anything if you put your mind to it. Helen Keller and Jon Morrow are examples of people who achieved excellence despite physical disabilities. Look within yourself. There is something waiting to be birthed. Find what that something is and do it, without excuses

Nomoreexcuses

Choose not to be a victim. Life is not fair for any one of us. There will be storms and you will make mistakes. But be determined to get up as many times as life pushes you down. Forgive yourself, learn the lessons, and go on working toward your goals.

victimeovictor

Stop comparing yourself to others. Comparing yourself with others is one of the greatest mistakes anybody can make. No matter who you are or where you find yourself in life, always remember that you have your own unique path to walk. Never compare yourself, your struggles, and your journey to anyone else, for that would only distract you from your own. We are all different. Forget about others and focus on fulfilling your own life dreams

stopcomparingyourself

Take action now. Try not to waste any more precious moments of your life time on regrets. Learn the lesson and move on. There’s still a lot of life in you. Go out there and live it!
