It was just a horrible day!

My day started with my usual level of positivity and good vibes.

I went to the post office, but had to go back home as I had left my ID.

I then went to buy my weekly ticket and my debit card did not work. I tried to sort it our over the phone, but my mobile phone was dead but thankfully a young man made me use his phone and I eventually sorted things out.

I eventually got on the train, slept all the way and as I was getting off a lady was shouting at me, as she noticed I had left my glasses.

I eventually got to work feeling a bit exhausted, and for a treat I decided to get some cooked lunch from one of the many places I usually go to. I really enjoyed the food. I  went home that night and felt so ill, that i was vomiting all over the place.  I could not sleep as  I had bad stomach cramps.  The following day I managed to attend a quick meeting and rushed back home still feeling unwell.

On the positive side, I managed to have  some rest for two days.!

Seize the day – Your life has a purpose

everrday

In all you do,  try not reach a point in life where you find yourself coasting through life with no goal or purpose for yourself. Remember to “seize the day”.

Live your life with purpose. Determine to live a life of focus. Today, take a stand on one thing you want to achieve in your life and draw up a plan to accomplish it.

Purpose

Stop making excuses. I am responsible for my life and not anybody else. Instead of making excuses, I need to take responsibility It doesn’t matter what the obstacles in your life are. You can achieve almost anything if you put your mind to it. Helen Keller and Jon Morrow are examples of people who achieved excellence despite physical disabilities. Look within yourself. There is something waiting to be birthed. Find what that something is and do it, without excuses

Choose not to be a victim. Life is not fair for any one of us. There will be storms and you will make mistakes. But be determined to get up as many times as life pushes you down. Forgive yourself, learn the lessons, and go on working toward your goals.

Stop comparing yourself to others. Comparing yourself with others is one of the greatest mistakes anybody can make. No matter who you are or where you find yourself in life, always remember that you have your own unique path to walk. Never compare yourself, your struggles, and your journey to anyone else, for that would only distract you from your own. We are all different. Forget about others and focus on fulfilling your own life dreams

Take action now. Try not to waste any more precious moments of your life time on regrets. Learn the lesson and move on. There’s still a lot of life in you. Go out there and live it!

You matter so take care of you!

Their comes a time in our lives, when we just need to step back from running around, and take time to evaluate our lives and prioritise things so that we don’t end up fatigued, depressed and washed out.

Two weeks ago, I just felt so exhausted from running around, trying to do so many things that my body decided enough was enough, and I became unwell for 4 days. I was a bit annoyed at being unwell as I had appointments and work to complete, and being self employed I was worried that by cancelling the jobs I had this would lead to me not having the amount of money I had planned to get that week. Well the fact of the matter is their was nothing I could do about being unwell, so I had to cancel everything I had planned, and spent the time at home just relaxing and getting my children to help me do some of the usual household chores. One of my good friends even came around and mad me a smoothie, helped me to cook some soup and motivated me just by being their and showing that she cared.

I had to take time out to:-
•Make a list of people and experiences that I was grateful for
•Take stock of every thing I was doing and why I was doing them
•Make a decision to let go and to stop doing things that were draining me
•Make a list of what was important to me
•Prioritise to spend time doing the things that were most important to me
•Create a list of people who I know I can call on to empower and motivate me
•Set realistic goals and how I was going to achieve them
•Make a decision to take better care of myself and to value my time

Things you could try to stay motivated

  1. Try and stay positive. No matter what, motivation goes hand in hand with positivity. Even when things are looking down, keep your head up and push forward.
  2. Speak to a friend who you know is supportive about how you are feeling and get them to encourage and support you back to the positive and fabulous person you are.
  3. Read or listen to stories about people who have overcome adversity and the things they deed to lead a successful life. This will inspire, motivate, encourage, fuel you to do something positive to get you back on track.
  4. Make things fun. At the gym, bring your favourite music. At work, bring yourself small treats to enjoy after small accomplishments. At home dress up in some fun outfits and have a party just to celebrate being you
  5. Listen and sing to your favourite and most uplifting songs as this will help change your focus and energise you.
  6. Do some form of exercise – e.g walking, dancing, cycling going to the gym as this will also help you to Exercise seems to have an effect on certain chemicals in the brain, like dopamine and serotonin. Brain cells use these chemicals to communicate with each other, so they affect your mood and thinking.

Wishing you all the best – You matter, so take care of you and may the Smile be with you always!

Happy Relaxation Day

benefitsofrelations
In a world of busyiness, we all need to try and take time out on a regular basis to just slow down… breath, and relax.
Relaxation Day is all about winding down and just taking it easy. If you’re lucky enough to have the day off work, enjoy a quiet morning watching TV from the sofa, and perhaps consider some light gardening in the afternoon – all in the spirit of relaxing!
