Taking part in last year’s UK Championships was such a fun experience that this year, I decided o run the England Championships with the support of members of fellow laughers form around the world.
The championships is an opportunity to share your most contagious laugh and if you should win, you can represent UK in the world Laughing Championships.
Laughing Championships are contests of contagious laughter where competitors go head to head and the most contagious laugher wins. The goal of the championships is simple. To create more contagious laughter in the world and to elevate the pursuit of joy and happiness.
Laughter connects people, improves health and promotes happiness. Laughter competitions are hilarious affairs where laughing together is the main goal despite the competition. As Confident Queen, my mission since 2009 has been to help as many people as I can to have a reason to smile each day through the various activities I run. This is because there was a period in my life when it was all dark and I felt like a bird trapped in a cage with no way out due to some personal challenges I was going through. Genny Jones has been working in the accounting profession for 25 years in various roles. Over the years she has overcome a period of work burn out, depression and low self esteem to developing her unique Happiness and wellbeing sessions aimed at businesses to help employees manage their stress levels so that they can be more productive.
In Accounting there is the concept of the duality of transactions which Genny applies in life. On one hand she has the serious professional head of an Accountant and on the other hand she has created a bubbly persona Confident Queen with a mission to share joy and happiness, which she was able to do when she appeared on Britain’s Got Talent and wowed the audience and judges who gave her “Yeses”

It’s good to have long term goals and plans, but for everyday living, you just have to focus on the now and making the most of things. If you are worried about the mountain in the distance, you might trip over the molehill right in front of you.. Small daily happenings make life spectacular…. start enjoying the small things in life.

As for me below are my main priorities and I try to make sure that I schedule my day with this in mind
Taking good care of myself sprit, body, mind and soul
Spending quality time with my family and friends
Putting my house in order
Focussing my business on the things that I enjoy doing

Making a difference in my local community
Trying new hobbies and experiences
Spending time on my own
Travel and explore different places
I find that by making sure that I include the things that are important to me, I feel more fulfilled and happier. I have also been able to schedule my day so I work smarter and not harder. I also have clear boundaries about my time for work and time for my other priorities of life.
Due to popular requests I am back to doing early morning 15 minutes Facebook live the aim is to get us all to start the day on a positive note even if life may not be going as planned. Let’s get those happy juices flowing and then set our intentions to have a good day.
