Evaluate your life day

Taking time to review your life is one of the most empowering activity you can do. Answer this question –Are the things I am doing each day moving me closer to achieving my goals and aspirations? If they are not, I encourage you to get piece of paper and pen, and take about an hour to just focus and answer these questions honestly as they will help you to evaluate your life and help you stay committed and motivated to take daily actions which will in turn help you to achieve your goals and aspirations.

Issue – What issues am I currently face with?

Goal – What would I like to happen about each issue??

Reality – What’s happening now in my life in relation to the issues I face?

Obstacles – What obstacles do I currently face that are stopping me from achieving my goals?

Options – What options do I have to overcome the obstacles I face?

Solution – Which of the options can I take on board?

Action – What things am I going to do to reach my desired solution>

Celebrate – How am I going to celebrate once I have resolved this issue?

Commitment – How committed am I to take the actions I have set,
Accountability – Who can I share my goals that will help to motivate and encourage me?

Mantra – What is the sentence I am going to say each day till I achieve my desired result?.

Plan for a better 2021

No one knows what the future holds, and with 2020 being such an unusual year, it can be tempting not to want to make any plans for the new year. We need to be hopeful and plan for things we have control over. Come and let’s plan how to make the most of the coming year.

Some key things to take into 2021

As we step into 2021, it is important that you set an intention of taking care of you and your mental wellbeing.  Start by creating a daily routine of about 20 minutes in the morning and last thing before you go to sleep. Engage in activities in the morning that will fuel you with good vibes to start you day. For me this includes, meditation, praying, reading something inspirational, setting my intentions for the day, visualizing me having a good day and some exercise.

At the end of each day again in activities that will help you to wind down, calm you so that you can enjoy a good night’s sleep. I enjoy listening to relaxing music, writing down things I am grateful for and doing my one minute smilence.

Be Hopeful – believe and know that there is light at the end of the tunnel. So long as you are alive there is hope, things may not  turn out the way you want it to be, but still have hope. I am hopeful my business will turn around and my diary will be filled with more bookings.

Be positive – Because you have hope, be positive that things will get better, and limit the amount of negativity you take in. Get a good perspective and understanding of things. I am positive of things being better by visualising and saying out positive affirmations about what I want to make happen.

Be resilient – you have coped with bad situations in the past, so you have it within you to accept, adjust and adapt to whatever life throws at you, and even if you have moments when you can’t cope, remember is ok not to be ok, and its ok to reach out and ask for help.

Be Consistent – If you are serious of making changes in your life, you can’t stop and start, you have to try to be consistent and keep going.  Over the last month, realising that my diary for the first 3 months is looking blank as I don’t  have much work coming into my business, I have been consistent everyday in revieing my business and coming up with new ideas to help me get some more bookings.  I have been spending 3 hours every day on this.

Be an Action taker – things just don’t happen because you think of it, you have to be prepared to take action on a consistent basis. Use your diary and schedule time to do things do that it then becomes a habit. I tend to wake up every day about 5am and spend at least an hour getting myself ready for the day, and this includes planning things I will do at set times. I now do most of my house work on Saturdays, and during the week I block time slots for me time, time with the family, work time and creative time. I have certain days when I do things, so that they have now become habits.

Be Happy – In the midst of uncertainty and challenges, you need to strive to be happy, Happiness is withing you. Even on days that are bad, before you go to bed each night, practise some meditation to calm you down, and spend a minute recalling happy moments in your life, or recall happy thoughts whilst smiling for a minute. Being happy for me also means reaching out to others by doing voluntary work. It gives me joy to see the smiles in people’s faces as i help to deliver lunches and gifts of hope to those vulnerable and in need of encourage, love and support.

Start new habits – New year is always a good time to start some new habits, I read somewhere that it takes 3  to four weeks to make a habit automatic. Firstly you must believe that this new habit is going to be good for you and then commit to do what it takes every for at least the whole of January.  I find it useful to have an accountability partner who can also encourage and support me when I am taking on new habits  Half way through, celebrate that you have come this far and keep going as you see the benefits this new habit is having in your life.

Challenge yourself to be a better version of you and to do what it takes for you to be happy, grateful, and thankful for the Gift of Life.

I would love if you could connect with me please for more good vibes and positivity.

How I lost and regained my Confidence

Few years ago I was suffering from sadness, lost my self confidence  stemming from a  lot of issues in my personal life. There were times when I felt like giving up; when I felt that there was no light at the end of the tunnel.

I  was fortunate to have received help, support, and advice from family, various organisations after I accepted my situation and wanted to find a way out. Over the years, I have learnt to bounce back and be resilient so that now I can share the lessons I have learnt with you. Please help us fund our #HappyCommunityCar

I have this big dream of getting a happy bus which I can use as part of my mission of doing my bit to spread happiness and good vibes to as many people as I can. For now the dream is to get a happy community car which I can use to deliver food to those in need and gifts to people who will be nominated as a way of making them feel good and have a reason to smile.

. This need for the Happy Community Car has come because I am currently a volunteer driver delivering lunches and gifts to help those in need around the gravesham area. The residents of one of the sheltered housing complex, all say they look forward to me coming especially as I put on various bright costumes to cheer them up and they always wonder what I will have on the next day.

My plan is to have my yellow car covered with smiley faces and other fun stickers so that as I drive around people can notice it and smile.. I will also deliver little treats, cards and inspirational messages to make people feel good.

I would really be happy if you could help me make my dreams become a reality by donating what you can towards The Happy Community Car.

Quit complaining and take action to achieve your goal

We are all equally gifted and it’s all a matter of choice and initiative whether we’ll become the best version of ourselves or live an average life. Do not let what you can’t do stop you from doing what you can.

  1. Believe and know that you can succeed
  2. Focus on making at least one of your goals become a reality
  3. Write down and review each day all the reasons why you want to achieve your goal.
  4. Imagine the things you will be doing once you have achieved you goal.
  5. Research how other people have achieved the same thing you want to achieve
  6. Everyday do something that will move you closer to your goal.
  7. Challenges will come your way, but don’t you give up
  8. Network with like minded positive people

“The mark of a successful person is his or her ability to see problems as opportunities instead of obstacles. And the most important lessons take place not when you celebrate the good times but persevere during the bad ones. Indeed, that’s why the bad times make the good times so good!” UCB

Gift of Confidence Box for children

The Gift of Confidence Box for children

As a parent or carer, we can encourage and support our child to be more confident and resilient so that they can be able to cope with everyday life. One of the tools I have developed to help is the Gift of Confidence Box

The idea of this Gift of Confidence  Box, is that children can put in various items which will help boost their self esteem and confidence. It is a box that they can build on and use it throughout their journey into adulthood. I also offer coaching ans support to help children with their self esteem and confidence.

  1. Empty box or paper to make your own box with blank A4 Cards or paper
  2. Glue
  3. Gift wrap paper
  4. Scissors
  5. Coloured stripes of paper
