Wellbeing and happiness activities to suit all ages

My well-being and happiness activities  are based on some of the practical tips in my popular  inspirational self help book crown of smiles. I also deliver these activities on a regular basis to help me  feel good and have a positive outlook to life.

Check out my nomination for the Pride of Britain Awards for my happiness sessions through the happiness project i set up.

Over the years I have delivered my sessions for a number of organisations such as Kent County Council,  Megan CIC, Mind, North West Kent CVS, Stronger Together, NHS and The Grand Gravesend.

I also take active part  in national awareness days such as World Mental Health Day, Stress Awareness Day, World Happiness Day and World Smile Day

Below is one of my sessions with the Stronger Together project.

My activities can help improve your mental well-being & happiness

Each time you smile, you throw a little feel-good party in your brain. The act of smiling activates neural messaging that benefits your health and happiness and this is what I aim to achieve in my workshops

A laugh from me to you

Laughing helps in everything. It even helps in tediously dry and boring moments.

If you need any hellp to enjoy everyday with a laugh do email me for a free skype call – genny@confidentqueen.co.uk

Hope you have strenghth for today – wake up and say – I can do this!

If you woke up this morning feeling a bit overwhelmed, just take a few minutes to recall how you have managed to overcome past challenges in your life. Now take a deap breath and say – I can do this, then smile and focus on having a good day.

You’ll be fine #Staystrong

You’ll be fine. Feeling unsure and lost is part of your path. Don’t avoid it. See what those feelings are showing you and use it. Take a deep breath. You’ll be okay. Even if you don’t feel okay all the time. – Louis C.

7 things you could try to feel good at work

  1. Take  a treat you can share with your colleagues
  2. Smile and say good morning to your colleagues and don’t worry if some don’t reply
  3. Before you start your work for the day just spend a few minutes breathing slowly in and out and say “ Today is another day I can accomplish all my tasks”
  4. Take time to get up and stretch at various  times of the day
  5. Offer to make drinks for your colleagues
  6. Take your lunch break away from your desk
  7. At various times of the day do your One Minute Smilence – recall happy moments in your life whilst smiling for a minute.

I hope you try some of  my suggestions, and do feel free to add yours.

So many reasons to smile!

Feel good friday #gravesend #feelgoodfriday

The idea of our popular feel good sessions, is to provide a safe environment, where people can just take at least an hour of their busy schedule to relax, enjoy a light snack, meet positive minded people, engage in some craft activity, share expereinces, encourage and support each other.

We run these sessions  thelast day of each month and do ask for a £2 donation towards our Happiness Project Kent.
