How to be a Happiness Spreader.

Why I became a happiness spreader

Their was a time in my life when i lost my zeal for life as a result of my divorce and at about the same time I was made redundant, I had so much debts and was finding it  hard to cope as a single parent. Even though I had friends and  families who could have helped me, I felt very sad and embarrassed. It took me time to sum up the courage to ask for help and when I did, it was the beginning of a beautiful journey.

I decided in 2009 to really focus on helping myself and others to be happier. As a happiness spreader  I want to help give hope and encouragement to others in a world which at times can be full of so much negativity. I am on a mission to recruit as many happiness spreaders as I can.

Success lessons from my 17 year old son

I am very proud about the achievements of my son, and all those who have supported and encouraged him to do his best.

Thanks to Ethnic Royals for this interview –

How old are you? 17 years old

What year are you in school?:

I am currently in year 13, studying for my last year of A levels.

What are your likes and dislikes?:

I enjoy sports, particularly football in which I support Manchester United.  I also enjoy reading, socialising and listening to music. My passion is studying successful people and picking their brains to extract beneficial information which I can apply to my life. I dislike horror movies and certain theme park rides. ( Nothing else I can think of)

How do you help at home?

At home I enjoy cooking, cleaning and often help with the shopping. I do this on a regular basis, but Saturday mornings is when I dedicate the most time to this.

Any best friend/friends?  I have a group of friends who are all ambitious and we encourage each other to do well. I don’t have a favourite but a few I have been close with since I was 3 years old.

Tell us a little bit about yourself:

I am a young serial entrepreneur, specialising in the area of marketing and real estate. I founded ‘DJ Property Solutions’ which are professional property problem solvers, creating an ethical win-win situation. I regularly network and educate myself in different aspects of life.

What role do you think education has played in your chosen field?

In regards to schooling, this has contributed to my numerical and language skills, principles such as creative writing and calculations have been significant towards my entrepreneurial field.

In regard to self education, this has contributed a lot more to my chosen field than schooling. For example: networking, reading and listening to podcasts has instilled in me strategic principles and techniques to become a successful entrepreneur.

When did you start your business?

I started my business in February 2019 with the help of my mentor Douglas Ponsford. I originally founded an ecommerce store ‘GrabItGadgets’ who dropship products to our global consumer base providing exceptional and efficient service. However, after discovering my passion for real estate, I was able to focus primarily on ‘DJ Property Solutions.

What has been your biggest challenge so far?

Biggest challenge has been gaining trust from respective companies because of my age. People often underestimate my capabilities because of my age therefore the initial stage has been the most difficult. However, through patience, persuasion and dedication, I am able to influence potential consumers to trust me and my services.

What/who inspires you?

Tony Robbins inspires me the most. His philosophy and service that he brings to others motivates me to want to add value and help transform lives. The path he has taken regarding consultancy and mentoring is something I look to go into in the future.

Can you tell us about the awards you have received, if any?

In my school, I have received subject awards in Business and ICT for performing well and achieving high results.

Are you currently supporting any charity? Can you tell us a little bit about your charity?

I support my church group ‘UCKG’ who are a registered charity that helps people transform their life’s by teaching simple principles such as belief and persistence.

I also support my mother’s charity which she has created called ‘Confident Children’ this has been running for over a decade which supports youth by finding their purpose and socialising with others to instil in them confidence to achieve.

Who in the industry do you aspire to be like?

I inspire to be like Tony Robbins – he is the top global business and life strategist. He is known for embracing life coaching sessions, writing books and hosting his own seminars which I also look to achieve.

Who is your biggest fan?

My biggest fan is my family, they provide me with great ideas and encouragement to achieve my intentions. In addition, they contribute to the marketing and promotion of my services which expands the traffic I gain to my website.

What would you like to be in the future?

In the future, I would like to be a happily married family man who is ultimately financially free. I want to bring value and change peoples lives, providing services such as consulting and coaching sessions to assist people in reaching their goals and finding their purpose. I aim to leave a legacy which can be followed by others and reduce poverty on a global scale.

What advice would you give other kids your age?

Advice to other kids my age would be to KNOW YOUR OUTCOME! I believe once you know what you are aspiring to achieve and are determined, small steps each day would see this vision manifest into reality.

What support are you looking to get from readers?

From readers I would like to grow a mastermind group who are in short, a supportive community sharing with each other new opportunities. I would like to understand from these individuals how I can improve my services and would want them to be willing to accept me as a role model which I can add value to.

Wow, isn’t he wonderful? Isn’t he inspiring? We can help this young man achieve his dream by cheering him on, contacting him via his social media to offer advice, help, follow him on social media, recommend him to your friends and family, drive traffic to his website; lets come together and build guys!……Instagram: @djproperty_solutions @denziljones11 Linkdn: @DenzilJones

My double entry life – Being an Accounting Consultant and Happiness Coach

The best of both worlds

I get asked so many times how I can be an Accountant and a Happiness Coach. I guess people have the impression that accountants are boring and dull. I certainly am not and know of many happy accountants. When I deliver my accounting courses, I always feel that sense of achievement when I get feedback that I make what can be a dull subject interesting and delegates feel more confident after.

Since I left school. I have always worked in the accountancy profession which I really love. My love for accountancy started in college having been encouraged and inspired by one of my tutors. It is a joy for me when a client brings a plastic bag of invoices and other documents which after a few days of sorting would end up being an excellent work of accounting art – the final accounts. A lot of my friends and colleagues do comment that I am not a typical accountant – for example I always love wearing bright colours and creating fun songs which helps me to remember various accountancy principles. Nowadays I mostly focus on 3 days training people how to install and use computerised accounts and payroll software and spend my other days, evenings and some weekends as a happiness coach  spreading happiness and good vibes.

Copy of Accountant

“In accounting there is the concept of the duality of transactions, which Genny applies in life. On one hand she has the serious professional head of an accountant, and on the other hand she  has created a  bubbly persona ‘Confident Queen’ with a mission to share joy and happiness, which she was able to do when she appeared on Britain’s Got Talent and wowed the audience and judges who gave her “Yeses”  SMBN

As a happiness coach and wellbeing consultant,  I want to help give hope and encouragement to others in a world which at times can be full of so much negativity. Having gone through  and recovered from some periods of anxiety, depression and stress, I decided in 2009 to really focus on helping myself and others to be happier. Check out the clip below of my nomination for the Pride of Britain Awards for the work I do in spreading happiness through the Happiness Project Kent which I set up.

It can be disheartening at times when you wake up in the morning, put on the news and hear about so many bad things happening in the world, and you wish that people should just try and love, care and support each other. Despite this, we must try not to loose hope.  Even when we are going  through challenges we must know their is a way out, the situation will pass and life goes on.623150

Confidence to start your business, social enterprise or project

Confidence to start your business, social enterprise or project

Since 2009, I have been involved of setting up and running various businesses using different legal structures from sole trader, limited company and social enterprises

I have learnt so much over the years, and the journey at times had been very tough, especially on the financial front and trying to balance running the business and raising two children on my own as well as doing my charitable activities to help others and make a difference.

It is possible to set up and run a successful business or project with the right mindset, determination, dedication and support of others. Over the last few years, I have helped so many people develop their ideas and turn it into a business, charity or social enterprise and still offer them regular support and update. I myself have my own mentor and coaches who help and support me.

Some key things to consider

  1. Mindset – Develop a positive and success mindset. “ I can do this”
  2. Work Ethics – Be prepared to work smarter
  3. Know your competitors – Study what others running a similar business are doing
  4. Destiny helpers – Build a team of support to encourage, motivate and empower you, ( business coach, mentor, staff team etc)
  5. Attend networks – Connect with like minded people
  6. Rollercoaster – Be prepared to cope with the rough times and good times
  7. Know your customers – Before people use your services they need to know you, and trust you, Focus on the benefits your services will give your customers Consider how you want your customers to feel before, during and after using your services.
  8. You are worth it – Put value on ther services your offer and don’t be afraid to charge
  9. Try to have at least 3 months worth of money saved to cover your personal expenses.
  10. Work life balance – Time for work, family time, me time, friends time and rest

Employee Appreciation Day

It’s easy to get bogged down in the day-to-day tasks of working life. That’s no excuse, however, for managers, CEOs and employers to forget just how important and valuable their employees are. Employee Appreciation Day encourages managers of all levels to support and reward their employees, and to show their appreciation!

Hoe to use laughter, humour and play to transform your personal and work life #StressManagementTips #StressAwareness

Why play is important to us all (Lauren Laverne)

“We’re all convinced we’re too busy to do it, and that’s no accident. Our culture values busyness – it is how we measure goodness. Play is indispensable to human progress and good for individuals. A culture that encourages it will enjoy cumulative benefits. Denmark – officially the happiest country on earth – is an example. Flexible work and affordable childcare are the norm, which means more free time. In addition, there is greater gender equality and a work-to-live culture that includes the expectation that people should pursue private interests.
