Today we celebarted the achivements of some very inspirationa ladies whose stories inspired and motivated us to step out of our comfort zone and be the best versions of ourselves.
This event was made possible through our amazing team of volunteers and funding towards some of the costs by our local Cllr Lauren Sullivan through the Kent County Council members grant.
Thanks to the wonderful Jacqueline Littlewood fo capturing our very inspirational women’s day by taking these lovely photos.

International Women’s Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The theme of this year’s International Women’s Day is #PressforProgress.
IWD – “A strong call to #PressforProgress. A strong call to motivate and unite friends, colleagues and whole communities to think, act and be gender inclusive.”

The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. International Women’s Day (IWD) has occurred for well over a century, with the first March 8 IWD gathering supported by over a million people in Austria, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland. Prior to this the Socialist Party of America, United Kingdom’s Suffragists and Suffragettes, and further groups campaigned for women equality. Your Crown of Confidence can be an imaginary crown, or you could make or purchase a real crown.
How to put on your Crown of Confidence
Imagine or put your actual crown on your head. As you do this, imagine their is a jar of Confidence Oil running down from the top of your head, through all the parts of your body, tingling down to the sole of your feet. You then look in the mirror if you have one, Smile back at your reflection, breathe in and out, and say out loud ” I am Unique, Special, and have the confidence to achieve my goals and be the best I can! Believe It, Imagine it, and with shoulders back, head high walk around a few minutes, like the Confidence Queen you are!
