Put on your Crown of Smiles (Day 2) Box of Smilence

  • Welcome to the 2nd Day of Crown of Smiles ( sorry its a bit late)

I hope you enjoyed yesterday’s blog

Remember that each day you have to get into the habit of:-

  • Putting on your Crown of Smiles ( see yesterday’s blog for more)
  • Spend 5 minutes for your Smilence Moments each day ( See yesterday’s blog)

Today Tasks ( Day 2) Make your box of Smilence

happinesssmallboxesTo make my box, I bought a small favour box from the shops and then decorated it with smiley faces.

You can even try and spend time making your box from ordinary card paper, and use your creativity to design it so that it is as colourful as you wish and make sure your have a smiley face on top.

You  then need to get small pieces of paper and write some happy positive affirmations which you can then fold and put inside your box.

How to use your box of Smilence

  1. You can leave it in a prominent place in your home so that it will remind you to smile each day
  2. You can take it around with you wherever you go so that at moments when you are feeling a bit down, you can look at it, read the affirmations and  this will help you to feel a bit better,
  3. You can make an additional box to give to someone to cheer them up.

Crown of Smiles is about helping us to develop  our self belief, and recognising the fact that from adversity can come creativity, confidence and clarity. For this month of February, I hope you can join me as we spend each day doing simple things that will help us have reasons to smile each day. I want you to truly love yourself, accept yourself, and believe that you DESERVE to and can  live the  life of your dreams.

For this month of February, I would like you to take  5 minutes each day to complete the following:- ( You can do this first thing in the morning, mid day and last thing before you go to bed at night) It is best if you get  book to write things down for the next 29 days!

How to put on your Crown of Smiles

untitledFirstly you can either make a crown of smiles, or you could just imagine you have an invisible Crown of Smiles.

As you put on your Crown of Smiles on your head, imagine you have a jar of happy oil which is being poured over your head.   As the oil goes through every part of your body, from the top of your head to the sole of your feet, imagine your body tingling as you experience inner joy which lightens up your face with a beautiful smile. You then start to move your body doing your happy dance as you say say “WooHoo BoomBoom I feel good”.

5 Minutes of Smilence moments each day
