How to use your Gratitude Jar 2021

The old saying tells us to count our blessings, but I must admit their have been days during 2020 when I have found it difficult to do so especially having friends die because of COVID19 and then some work I had planed to do has been put on hold and looking at my empty diary just made me feel a bit fed up and frustrated like so many who find themselves in similar position.

But everyday, I strive to wake up each day and to be grateful for the gift of life and the loving and supportive network i have. This then gave me the idea of having a gratitude jar for the new year,

As we approach 2021, perhaps you can join me in having a gratitude jar which you can make and place in a prominent place that you can see.

Remember that even in the toughest social, economic or political times, there are numerous reasons to be grateful. The more you are grateful the more life gives you experiences and people to be grateful for.

Everyday, make it a habit to write down what you are grateful for, wrap it up and put in the jar. Anytime you feel a bit low, just get your gratitude jar and read some of the things you have been grateful for. If you live in a household with others, make it fun and involve everyone.

Do let me know how you get on and take photos of your gratitude jar and send to me.
