The World Health Organisation recognises World Mental Health Day on 10 October every year and a theme is set each year
Smiling – No matter what you are going through, give yourself permission to smile and recall happy moments in you life as it will help towards your overall wellbeing.

“Each time you smile, you throw a little feel-good party in your brain. The act of smiling activates neural messaging that benefits your Health and happiness”
Here are some fun exercises to try to help lift your mood and make you feel good. Allow at least 5 minutes to try each exercise.
Breathe
Breathe in positivity, Breath out negativity- make a growling noise as you breath out ( 4 times)
Smile
Smile to the right, Smile to the left, smile in front to you. (4 times)
Gratitude Dance – Dance around for a minute as you sing out loud things in your life that you are grateful for. Eg I am grateful for my life, I am grateful for health, I am grateful for my job, I am grateful for my family, I am grateful for my friends, I am grateful I have food to eat, I am grateful I can help others, I am grateful I can laugh hahahahahaha
Recall positive thoughts or look at positive images whilst smiling for a minute.
