Your daily habits and routine will lead you to great success and your morning routine can change your life . It will  help you feel more productive, accomplished and set your day for greatness as you move nearer to achieving your goal.

I have read up on the habits of successful people and it seems that when they wake up in the morning, they  don’t immediately check their email  or phones– they make it a point to claim the early hours of the day as their “me” time, which includes various activities which sets the tone for their productive day.

What time do you wake up?

You have to decide the best time for you to wake up and set your alarm. For me, I wake up at 5am every morning and have done so for years.


How much time do you need for your morning routine?

This is entirely up to you. I initially started with  5 minutes and gradually increased the minutes and over the years, I spend a minimum of an hour  in my morning routine.

Start small, do your routine at the same time every morning and after a few days it will become an automatic routine.

Here is my morning routine, and I hope it will help you to create yours.

Remember I have been doing this for years. You need to create something based on the time you have. Why not start with 10 minutes each day for 2 weeks and then gradually increase the time you spend.

Wake up – 5am


Stretching in the morning improves circulation, increases your  energy level,. blood flow to your brain and sharpens your concentration in the morning.


When we breathe deeply, we oxygenate the blood, which causes our brain to release endorphins. It is these endorphins that help reduce stress in the body and decrease levels of pain. So Spend a few minutes deep breathing  in and out


Spending  five-minutes a day expressing gratitude can increase your long-term well-being by more than 10 percent. The more you are grateful the more things you will attract in your life . So start your day being grateful you are alive, grateful for your family and friends, grateful for the things you are able to do etc.

4.Brush teeth and wash my face

5. Drink hot water

6.Pray – for my self, family, neighbours and others

7.Read something inspirational – I read a daily devotional called Word for today

8.Listen to something inspirational –search for something inspirational on youtube

9.Write my blog – I do love sharing with others through my blogging

10.Exercise – go out for a run/walk/gym for at least 30 minutes

11.Personal grooming and get dressed for walk

12. Eat a healthy breakfast

13. Few minutes with my sons

14. Review my schedule for the day , visualise having a good day and being thankful of all the opportunities that the day holds for me backed with positive affirmations

Now I am ready to start my day fuelled with energy and positive vibes

    well my morning routine:
    I start to wake up at 5:30.because of being Lazy,I finally stand up at 6:am.
    I say a Thank you prayer.
    Do round of seat ups
    Drink a Glass of warm water.
    I use the toilet.
    Brush my Teeth
    wash my Undies
    Have a shower
    Dress up
    Grab breakfast
    off to work
    I blog
    Now I’m ready for my Day
