I cried myself to sleep #ILoveToWriteDay

So much had been going on in my life, I felt really trapped by my circumstances  and felt their was no way of getting out of the cycle of  having a work contract, then when it finished I felt myself struggling to make ends meet and look after my children  as we seemed to be living a “Just about managing life” ‘

I felt disappointed that even though I have worked all my life I had not many material possessions to show for it. I watched with envy as I saw people my own age living the live of their dreams with a wonderful family and  always on holidays and really living their life to the maximum.

I cried myself to sleep. One  night I dreamt I was a little bird trapped in a cage and suddenly I saw a huge hand open the cage door and I could hear a voice saying – “Your are free, fly away and soar like an eagle.”  All of a sudden I was transformed into an eagle and I could feel myself flying higher and higher with a golden box in my beak with the words “Set free”

When I woke up, I thought about the dream and remembered I had the same dream when I was going through my divorce,  I got up with anew energy and passion to take action to turn my situation around.

Things I did to help me

  1. I started to develop the abundance mindset believing my current situation was temporary
  2. I searched on Google for stories of people who had been in my same situation but had managed to turn their lives around.
  3. I wrote down the things I wanted to achieve  and chose to have faith despite the facts of my current situation that things would get better.
  4. I created a vision board to bring my vision of my life into reality and every day I would spend time day dreaming about things.
  5. I created positive affirmations relating to the things I wanted to happen and  I repeated them every day.

I’m curious to find out what blog platform you’re utilizing? I’m experiencing some minor security issues with my latest website and I’d like to find something more risk-free. Do you have any solutions?
