Put on your Crown of Smiles (Day 15) What 7 things are you grateful for?

Welcome to the 15th Day of Crown of Smiles – What 7 things are you grateful for>

I hope you enjoyed yesterday’s blog and lets celebrate as we are half way through this month. I hope you are keeping up with the daily tasks! It would be great if you could write any ideas or comments you have.

Remember that each day you have to get into the habit of:-

  • Putting on your Crown of Smiles
  • Spending  5 minutes for your Smilence Moments each day – which includes writing down all the things that made you smile the day before
  • Put all your smilence moment in your box of Smilence  and put it in a prominent place or take it around you as a way to boost your Smilence level

Today’s Task –  What 7 things  are you most grateful for?

The old saying tells us to count our blessings, but sometimes that can be difficult to do. Every now and then, it doesn’t hurt for us to take stock of our lives to be grateful and appreciate what we have. Even in the toughest economic or political times, there are numerous reasons to be grateful.

I woke up this morning, and the thought of me having to work for 15 minutes so that my friend could me a ride work, was making me a bit miserable especially when I just but the rubbish outside for collection and was in shock as to how cold and windy it felt!

The temptation was for me to phone work then  go back under the duvet and sleep for a few more hours!

In the end I resisted and remembered that I had to write this blog and hence my title today – What are you grateful for?

What I am grateful for? As for me, these are some of the reasons I am grateful for today!

  1. I woke up this morning and in good health
  2. I can hear the sounds of the birds singing good morning
  3. My children are well and sleeping peacefully
  4. I have strength and energy to complete today’s task
  5. I can walk for fifteen minutes and my friend is kind enough to give me a life.
  6. I have a good mechanic who is repairing my car for me
  7. I have the support of my wonderful family especially during the last few challenging months
