Welcome to our 9th day in our mission to spread happiness by giving people reasons to smile inspite of their challenges in #happygravesham #happykent. We hope you can be part of it. This is all part of the activities to celebrate the United Nations International day of happiness on 20th March 2015.
Plans for the Day #happygravesham 20th March 2015
We remember “The Girl with the beautiful smile – Stacey Mowle”
Morning Happiness Event – Asda Gravesend from 10am to 12noon
There will be a display of leaflets by various local organisations as well as the handing out of free happy cards and goodies to cheer people. The Mayor of Gravesham will present happy awards to some nominated individuals.
Lunch time Happiness Event – Towncentric 12noon to 2pm
Collect some cakes and free happy cards and goodies
Daytime Happiness Event – John the Green Grocer throughout the day
Collect a piece of free fruit from John (the green grocer outside Coffee Republic) as well as free happy cards and goodies.
Evening Happiness Event – 7.30 to 9.30pm with Cllr Senja Compton
An evening of fun, dance, laughter and presentation of Happy Awards by Cllr Tanmanjeet Dhesi and Cllr Compton. Venue is Pegasus Court, Sun Lane, Gravesend DA12 5QA.
