I hope yesterday you managed to spend time to review what is really happening in your life as well as things you have tried in the past towards making your life happier. Today – Using the IGROWS model, we will look at the letter O – which stands for OPTIONS and we will also add Obstacle, Solution and Feelings.
I will give you an example which will include the other 3 letters we have used
I – the Issue – I need to get a car
G- the Goal – Get a yellow automatic family car
R- the Reality – I can’t afford a brand new car
O- the Options: Obstacle Solution
Take our a loan Cannot afford to take another loan Don’t get a loan
Start to save None Set up savings plan for car
Rent a car when needed Too expensive Don’t rent
Get lifts to places Too embarrassed at times to ask Just ask
Walk Sometimes I feel too tired Start walking short distance
