One Minute Smilence Challenge June 2014

StopandSmile

In this beautiful month of my birthday, I want us all to try and take time out of our busy and sometimes challenging lives to focus on the things that make us smile each day, write them down in a book, and then spend a minute to smile because you are alive, and despite the challenges of life, their is always a reason to smile.

Why I created the One Minute Smilence
One minute Smilence was created by me Confident Queen. Initially this was something I did each time when I felt down and sorry for myself and at times when I found it hard to even smile. By me dedicating time at the start and end of each day to focus on reasons for me to smile, I started to feel better, and realise that Life is a gift, and that though life has its ups and downs, their is always, always something to make you smile each day.

Since them I have been so excited as I have been sharing this to a lot of people, who really like the idea. So as this is my birthday month (8th of June) I thought it would be good for us to celebrate each day by recorat least one thing that made you smile.

What is the One Minute Smilence
The one minute Smilence is a simple way for us all to take time out of our busy and stressed schedule, and spend a few minutes thinking about things that make us smile, and then spend a minute smiling because we are alive and there is hope and many things for us to smile about,

Things you could do

Each day write down at least one thing that made you smile so that by the end of the month you will have a list of at least 30 fantastic things that made you smile.

You could take a picture of you holding the “ completed my one minute smilence challenge” and then do a selfie, upload on twitter using #1minutesmilece or you could do a short video recording of you doing it and upload.

You could even just come back to this blog and enter reasons you Smile on the comments

I have read from numerous sources that smiling is a key way to maintain a positive mood and your physical state -it lowers blood pressure. keep smiling. I have heard of laughter yoga, but does smiling yoga exist?
